Help This Young Nigerian Regain His Eyesight


Gbenga Akinbolade Pace is a 28-year-old Nigerian. He has a degree in Mass Communication from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko in Ondo State, Nigeria. He is currently on National Youth Service, a compulsory one year youth service for fresh graduates in Nigeria (National Youth Service Corps- NYSC) at the School for Special Needs, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.

Gbenga became blind when he was seven years old in 1994. In April 2014, after being blind for 20 years, he was examined by a team of ophthalmologists from Federal Medical Hospital, Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria and Zhuhai LuDa Hospital, China.  Gbenga has been referred to Zhuhai Hope Hospital in Zhuhai city, China for treatment that will enable him to regain his sight.
Treatment cost/ transportation and accommodation: $30,000. So, Gbenga, a determined young man, who in spite of being blind, struggled to be a role model to other visually impaired individuals in his community could SEE again through your kind gesture! Gbenga is soliciting for your assistance to raise $30,000 to enable him go for the treatment in China.
